Either for family trips or business use, the Nissan NV350 Urvan is a reliable workhorse that can comfortably accommodate 10 to 18 people, depending on the variant. Nissan Philippines also has a cargo version for business utility. The Nissan NV350 Urvan employs a clean look on the outside, with subtle lines on the side, which is a universal look for passenger and utility vans.
Inside, the fifth-generation Nissan Urvan is a simple aesthetic approach that favors comfort over style. The shift knob is positioned on the dashboard to maximize seating in the front cabin, while 360-degree air vents ensure every occupant will be cozy and comfortable. A multi-function display includes shift timing and fuel efficiency, and a lower tray with air vent keeps your things cold during the travel. At the back are 12 individual air-conditioning vents for each and every passenger. The Nissan NV350 Urvan in the Philippines runs on a 2.5L diesel engine that can produce up to 129 hp and 356 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, while the bigger 15-seater Premium variant gets the option for an automatic gearbox.
The fifth-generation Urvan was launched on October 27, 2017, with an all-new design for the front of the vehicle. Gone were the boxy and rectangular lines of the older vehicle, replaced with an angular and sleeker design. The headlights are now bigger matching the size of the Urvan estate variant of the previous generation. The beltline was also revised to add more emphasis to the wheel arches instead of being just one straight line across the body of the vehicle. The interior was also revamped for the new model.
The Nissan NV350 Urvan comes in three different variants, the first was a cargo variant aimed at small business and logistics. The next two were the Shuttle and Premium variants. The Shuttle variant comes in a 15 or 18-seater configuration, while the Premium variant comes with a bubble top but only in a 15 seater configuration.
Powering the Nissan Urvan NV350 is a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine. It is similar in design to that of the powerplant found in the Navara. The engine produces 129 hp and 356 Nm of torque enough to get the people carrier moving. For suspension, the Nissan NV350 has a torsion bar with a stabilizer front suspension and a rigid rear axle with leaf spring suspension at the rear. Braking performances come from ventilated disc brakes up front, while the rear gets a leading and trailing drum brakes.

The Premium variant gets four while the standard shuttle variant gets two. Only the Premium variant gets a keyless and panic alarm system as standard. The exterior of the Nissan Urvan shares the same rectangular shape as the previous model but body lines, especially the beltline, has been redesigned. The beltline tappers off in the middle of the van and returns as it approaches the rear quarter of the vehicle. This gives the vehicle the illusion of having wider fender areas. The front of the NV350 now features Nissan’s V-motion grille flanked by multi-reflector halogen headlights. The front bumpers have also been redesigned to feature a more angular fascia. It also adds more depth to the rather plain-looking sides of the vehicles.
The Urvan comes with a gray themed interior for its Shuttle and Premium variants. The Shuttle comes in with standard fabric while the Premium Urvan gets premium fabric. Climate controls are in the form of dials that come with a heater function for air-conditioning and heater functions. There are 14 air vents in the Premium variant, while the standard variant gets 12. All variants get power locks. Power windows are also standard in the lineup except for the cargo variant where it isn’t available.
